Nominee Golden Gibbo 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Nominee Best Comedy 2017 FRINGE WORLD
2018 Golden Gibbo Nominee (of Almost Lesbians) Sophie Joske plays over 30 characters in Woman of the Hour, a one-woman rollercoaster ride through the troubled life of a tarnished, but still glittering star.
Meet Cassandra Barbitoll, a legendary artist, muse, and woman of the stage. Can she contain her extravagant glamour in the modest furnishings of a festival show and go for an hour without picking up a bottle of gin?
Woman of the Hour is the demented love child of Grey Gardens and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? raised by a queer feminist.
