Iceland’s biggest comedy star returns to the Festival following sold out runs in Edinburgh and Soho Theatre.
With a stubborn determination to translate Icelandic material into fluent English, Ari covers fatherhood, mindfulness, Icelandic weather and what it's like to live in a country with with an entire population of just 360,000 people.
Born and raised in Reykjavík, Ari has appeared on the BBC’s Mock the Week and performed with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra.
A breakout hit at the 2018 Festival, this former flight attendant’s fast and friendly comedy is utterly charming.
'His jokes feel as fresh as mountain air… Eldjárn’s got a joke for every occasion. I can’t recommend this hugely enjoyable show highly enough. ★★★★½' Herald Sun
