Cherese Sonkkila & Friends Fresh and Fruity

A zesty, sexy comedy variety hour which doesn’t pull any fruit-punches!

***
You arrive at the show with a hot date on your arm and everyone is dressed to the limes. You heard through the grape-vine it’s a berry good time. There’s music playing in the foyer and the chorus softly croons, “I’m bananas about you.” You order an appletini: juiced, not squeezed. You go to take a sip but suddenly realise that you’re a mango, and mangoes don’t have hands. Guess you’re plum out of luck. But gosh, are you darn delicious.
***

Fresh from a bountiful season at Melbourne Fringe Festival, Cherese Sonkkila and Friends are back with more high energy dance numbers, absurd characters, debatable facts and even more fruit! Featuring in-house jazz-band The Spoon Monkeys, performances by the festival’s most outrageous comedians, and more puns than you can put in a punnet. This part game show, part talk show and all-around sultry cabaret will leave you on a fructose-high.

We really hope you cumquat.
