Con Coutis The Dark Side of the Room

Welcome to the world of the terminally indecisive!

One of its inhabitants: Alan Chipperfield.

If there’s one thing he knows, it’s that he’s not sure.

London, 1984.

Alan needs to pay his overdue electric bill by 5pm, or else his power will be cut. The thought of leaving his flat to pay the bill, however, is quite the excruciating prospect. And so, his friends Simon and Roxanne arrive to rouse him into action, and out of the flat.

The stakes are high, as Alan stares down the barrel of a life engulfed by darkness, without light, without hope, unable to see where he’s going. And that's if the power doesn't go out.

'Fast-paced, clever, and most of all, funny.' Lot's Wife

‘Ripping slapstick comedy… with linguistic sophistication.’ WeekendNotes
