Lawrence Money is not Lawrence Mooney. Then again, Lawrence Mooney is not Lawrence Money. One-o Money was a newspaper columnist and journalist who decided to do stand-up after he left the publishing game, debuting his first show, Loose Change, at the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, with surprising success. His second show, The World's Gone Mad, proved prophetic as the globe went absolutely bonkers in 2020 and his show, and the Festival, went down in flames. So Money has polished up The World's Gone Mad, updated it with a healthy dose of Lockdown fever and he's back on stage, looking at the life and times with an eye sharpened over many decades as a humour writer... Plus a fair helping of musical satire with his keyboard.
