Kaine Hansen Wonderwall

IN PERSON

Kaine Hansen Wonderwall

Wonderwall is the brand-new musical comedy show by emerging comedian Kaine Hansen. This absurdist storyteller will take you on a wild ride of songs and personal anecdotes about the thing we love to ignore most...  death.

Life was weird for Kaine in 2015. Around every corner the hooded reaper seemed to follow. Death met family, friends and even his beloved cockatiels Bono and Custard! After dodging the sickle three times, Kaine was left to think there must be more to existence than being scared by it. This is a coming-to-terms story of a young man finding power in his own mortality.

2020 was a busy year for Kaine as he hosted and wrote the kid's web series 'BeTV', for children during lockdown. This showcased his kooky and warming charm through a series of characters and sketch.

This was followed by a sold-out season at Melbourne Fringe with Melbourne's most infamous theatre company, Pony Cam. The group took out the 2020 Fringe Award for Sound Technical Excellence (A Red Square).

Kaine's music can be described as a mix between Paul Kelly and TISM. His witty and sometimes deeply dark humour offers audiences a catharsis from the world that is. So come enjoy a celebration of death in the catchiest way possible!

'Filled with hilarity, gut-wrenching twists.' Theatre Travels (A Red Square)

'Audience is in for one hell of a ride.' Theatre Travels (A Red Square)

'South Park meets Greek tragedy.' Theatre Travels (A Red Square)
