Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Melbourne Fringe opens today!

The Melbourne Fringe Festival kicks off today and includes a line up to get you laughing!

Over the next two and a half weeks catch new and exciting shows from Melbourne International Comedy Festival award winners and nominees Game Boys and Patrick Collins.

You can also catch shows that were missed in the first half of the year (we don’t have to chat about why…) from comedians Bev Killick and Karen from Finance.

Party people can get some late night LOLs via an excellent Club Fringe program that includes the talents of Die Roten Punkte, Double Denim, Gillian Cosgriff, Andrew McClelland and Randy Feltface.

Plus more from Comedy Festival regulars Diana Nguyen, Dylan Cole, Dazza and Keif, Elly Squire & Sophie Joske, Jacci Pillar, Jude Perl, Lou Wall, Matt Harvey, Reuben Kaye, Simon Taylor and Tash York.

And if you’re feeling cheeky you can enjoy a laugh AND a wine from home with The Wine Bluffs.

Check out the Fringe’s comedy program here, and the full festival on the Fringe website.
