Guy Montgomery's

Guy-Mont Spelling Bee Live

  • New Zealand

One Night Only!

Who ever thought that words would make it this far?

After sell-out seasons at the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and becoming a smash television show for the ABC, Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee is coming to Melbourne for one night only at the Palais freaking Theatre.

That is correct! The show that began as a way of whiling away the hours during a global pandemic is all grown up and ready to grace the stage of one of Australia's most prestigious theatres. Come and watch your favourite comedians misspell some of your favourite words.

*Please note that this is a live show and NOT a recording of the TV show and as such has both a similar and different energy. Similar in that the premise and host are the same, different in that there is not a television set and Aaron Chen will not be there

Suitable for audiences 15+

Language – occasional coarse language

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
