Madi Chetcuti & Maddison Verduci

Mad C*nts

  • Australia

Ever met a woman with brunette hair? Why are they like that? And why are there two of them yelling at me right now on stage? Wait... they’re not yelling… they’re straight-up mad duo vibing!

Join Madi and Maddison for a chaotic exploration of womanhood and friendship, laced with irony, like how a sexy lady is laced in sexy lace lingerie. And honey, tonight, we’re the sexy ladies ;) Expect pop culture references, multimedia and sketches that, like Madame Web’s web, connect us all.

We kinda like to think we’re juuuuust like Patti Harrison (if she had curly hair), Broad City (if they were raised Roman Catholic) and The Lonely Island (if they were two women who didn’t sing).

Madi Chetcuti and Maddison Verduci are performers, writers and improvisers with The Improv Conspiracy. Mad C*nts is their debut show. They are friends despite a glaringly obvious five (5!) year age difference.

Directed by Elyce Phillips (Hard Quiz)

Suitable for audiences 15+

Language – occasional coarse language

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
