Patti Fawcett & Jackson Rutherford

Pseudo Country Kids

  • Australia

Slam! Pop quiz. Boy? Girl? Mate, I’m a barrel racer. Sizzle! You’re a man, man. Ka-Pow! Am I? Martini. Cheers country kids!

Patti met – or found, rather – Jackson smoking her cigarette butts out of a beautiful yet unsanitary ashtray. She took pity on him and the rest is history.

But little did she know, that underneath this minimum wage artist facade, was a pseudo-country little queer.

Thus began a miraculous marriage sprung, a friendship of clearly defined commitment to assist both in their anxious tribunal.

Now they bring you a show like no other. Featuring Martinis shaken to the core, then stirred and finally blended.

Is it giving a husband/wife?

It’s just plain hay baled, rolled and sold to ya.

'A sharp observational eye, a unique voice, a mastery of syntax, timing, cadence.' The Age (Patti Fawcett)

'Patti is absolutely one to watch.' Scenestr

'With every deliberately chosen movement, his words have a brilliant colour that is a joy to hear and to watch.' Pelican Magazine (Jackson Rutherford)
