Take a trip to Comedy Island! The country’s freshest new comics bring A+ amusement to the Spiegeltent at Luna Park. Talented teens and twenty-somethings will take to the stage alongside big-name special guests for a night of unbridled hilarity. You’ll be shocked, you’ll be amazed… you’ll be thoroughly entertained by these 17-21 year olds with funny in their futures. Featuring alumni from the Class Clowns and LOL Squad programs, you know they’ve got the goods to get you giggling. It’s the carousel of comedy you won’t want to get off!
Hosted by Matt Okine and featuring rising stars AWKWARD (2018 Class Clowns Winners), Alex Lowes, Big Black Families, Bryn Inglis, Demetri Spyropoulos, Dusty Diddle (J-DOG), Ethan Cavanagh, Greggoncé, Hannah Arbuthnott, Meg Mitra and Sirak Keeghan. Joined by special guest performances from Sam Simmons, Sammy J, Geraldine Hickey, Danielle Walker (Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2018 Best Newcomer), Bec Melrose (RAW Comedy Winner 2018), Emma Holland (2018 RAW National Finalist) and Kimberly Lovegrove (2018 Deadly Funny National Finalist).
