Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Featuring 25 artists from Australia and further afield, the six-episode series Audible Presents: Live from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2019 puts you in the front row for an intimate and immersive audio experience that really is the next best thing to being there! The line-up includes Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 2019 Best Newcomer Blake Freeman, the straight-talking and sardonic USA star Liza Treyger, two-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Ahir Shah, Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 2019 joint Pinder Prize Winner Sam Taunton, rising star and 2018 RAW Comedy National Winner Bec Melrose, Most Outstanding Show of the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival nominee Cassie Workman, Kolkata-born, Mumbai-based stand-up Anirban Dasgupta and Australian musical comedy duo The Stevenson Experience, just to name a few.
