Leigh Qurban Not Enough Chill Leigh

Leigh Qurban delivers his piping hot stand up show Not Enough Chill Leigh to this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Parties have been replaced with dinner parties. Main events have been replaced with main courses and dessert is just one letter more than a hot, dry hell. Food is life, life is stressful and cooking can bugger off! Ever screamed f*%k at an egg? Leigh has. So just chill, he's cooked up an hilarious new show. Shotgun licking the beaters.

'Relatable humour at its finest. ★★★★★' Glam Adelaide

'Leigh kills it. ★★★★' Adelaide Advertiser

'Qurban’s quick wit and charismatic stage presence prove that he is one to watch. ★★★★' Rip It Up

'Leigh Qurban is as entertaining as they come. ★★★★' The Clothesline

'★★★★' Fest Mag (UK)

Born and raised in Adelaide, Leigh Qurban commenced his stand-up comedy career in 2011 and quickly rose through the ranks featuring and hosting with his observational, relatable and, at times quirky, material. In 2015 he was awarded the Adelaide Comedy Peer’s Choice Award and in the following year took out Adelaide Comedian of the Year. Frequently touring around the country, Leigh has taken sold shows to the Perth, Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival whilst being awarded the 2018 Kings of Comedy Comedian of the Year Award and in the same year being crowned a winner in the One Cover 'One Thing Comedy Competition'. 2019 saw him continue to tour the festival circuit and perform to 2000 people at the Adelaide International Comedy Gala then head out west as part of the Comedy Gold Tour. Described as an effective storyteller and a larrikin, Leigh has proven to be a crowd favourite to a broad audience and has supported the likes of Sam Simmons, Felicity Ward and Akmal Saleh. Leigh has also shown off his comedic acting talent in the widely popular The Sound Of Nazis and Worst Side Story.
