Kate Hanley Corley Chrysalis

IN PERSON

Kate Hanley Corley Chrysalis

Squeezing out of the pupa of 2020 is Kate Hanley Corley in her new cabaret Chrysalis, a collection of comedy songs including viral lockdown hit ‘Victoria’. It also features other COVID classics that got many Victorians through lockdown with a smile, including ‘Suttonly’ about Brett Sutton, Victoria’s Chief Medical Officer, and her comedic take on the Victorian quarantine hotel debacle ‘Hotel Quarantina’. In addition, Kate will perform some original songs from previous shows composed by long-time collaborator Emma Hart along with some brand-new songs. It will be 50 minutes of non-stop "sillyoquy".

Kate Hanley Corley is a Melbourne-based comedian known for French nymphomaniac snob Fanny Bouffante in her two shows French Women Do Everything Better and Scandals, as well as South Yarra Mum Annabelle and Bad Mother. Her brand of quirky, absurdist and musical comedy has won her adoring fans from Newtown to Newfoundland.
