Nicky Wilkinson From Britain With Love. (United Kingdom)

Nicky Wilkinson From Britain With Love. (UK)

Nicky Wilkinson is one of the UK’s finest comedy exports, but don’t worry, she moved to Australia before the pandemic, so she’s germ-free!

She was a finalist in prestigious UK comedy competitions, So You Think You’re Funny (the UK version of RAW Comedy) and New Act Of The Year (NATYS) in 2013. Since then, she’s grown from strength to strength.

You may recognise Nicky from her previous performances at Melbourne International Comedy Festival as one half of physical comedy duo, The Kagools (Winner Best Comedy Weekly Award 2017 & 2020 Adelaide Fringe, Winner Best Comedy Show (Audience Vote) Laughs of Launnie 2019, Winner Best Comedy Show(Amused Moose Award) 2017 Edinburgh Fringe).

This year she’s hanging up the raincoat and flying solo but don’t worry, you’re in safe hands. Nicky has a warm, likeable, down-to-earth style of comedy that instantly puts audiences at ease. Her stand-up mixes charming, real-life anecdotes with just the right dose of self-deprecation and often brilliantly funny improvised riffs with the crowd.

Her impressive stage presence, witty charm and considerable comedy performance experience ensure she’ll move quickly through the comedy ranks here in Australia, making her ‘one to watch!’

Here’s what some of the important media-type people have said about her in the past:

'Wilkinson is charming and charismatic… it’s an hour of pure fun. ★★★★' The Wee Review

'Wilkinson’s relatable, down to earth humour leaves the audience in stitches. ★★★★' This is Radelaide

'Effortless likeability and excellent comic timing.' Chortle (UK)

Suitable for audiences 18+
