Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Cat & Caz Comedy On The Rocks: A Theatre Drinking Game

Cat & Caz Comedy On The Rocks: A Theatre Drinking Game

Showcasing the weirdest, whackiest, funniest, goofiest, comedy-est comedy by Melbourne’s theatre thespians.

Hosted by Cat and Caz, chuckle and chortle your way through six short comedy plays.

How to play the game:

Each short play includes three special moments:
- an actor faints
- a toothbrush appears
- an actor says “what the hell have you done?”
When you spot the special moment, we all “cheers!” together and have a cheeky chugalug (responsibly of course!).

There are two acts with an Interval and raffle tickets handed out on entry at the door for a fun mystery prize!

Comedy On The Rocks is brought to you by Cat Holder, who has co-written and produced shows such as Blood Is Thicker Than Hummus by Little Dirt Path, You're No Good by Next Tuesday Theatre at La Mama, and Caz Dawes from Well, That Was Awkward! and Sally Carrot is a Fraud with James Burgess at the Butterfly Club.

After a successful 2022 Melbourne International Comedy Festival season, Comedy On The Rocks debuted as a monthly event at The Motley Bauhaus with sell-out shows.

Here's what audiences are saying:
"I left feeling very uplifted."
"My cheeks were so sore from laughing so much." "This show is not to be missed."
"I cried, it was so funny."
and of course "That was actually very Funny." My Mum
