Annie Louey is Flirting With Death
2022 Moosehead Recipient
As a child, Annie attended more funerals than birthday parties. As a teenager, she had a near-death experience. As an adult, she worked at a funeral home during a pandemic. Having been brought up in a culture that keeps death on the down low, Annie is about to blow the coffin wide open.
This brand-new hour of stand-up, storytelling and surprises is delivered in Annie’s signature style and directed by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival award winning Jason Marion.
You may recognise Annie from the 2021 Opening Night Allstars Supershow, as a presenter on ABC TV’s China Tonight and as the host of Channel 31’s Rediscover Victoria. She can be heard regularly on ABC Radio.
