Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

2020 MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL ROADSHOW WILL NOT GO AHEAD

Friday 20 March, 2020

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement about non-essential gatherings of more than 100 people, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, set to take place from April to July.

Our primary concern is the health and welfare of our artists and participants, staff and audiences. Cancelling the April to July Roadshow performances is heartbreaking but the only decision possible to support the community’s efforts to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are currently working on rescheduling some Roadshow performances to later in the year. For any ticket refunds or enquiries please contact your local Roadshow venue or ticketing retailer.

We’re devastated by the news, thank everyone for their understanding and support, and look forward to sharing a laugh with you again soon.
