Claire Hooper is a marvel to behold. An hour about falling becomes a journey through anxiety, emotions, and health issues. Her stellar stage presence, world-class writing skills, and down-to-earth demeanour make for a wonderful way to spend the night.

Watching Nothing To See Here felt like witnessing Ali win the title. Hooper moves through jokes with ease, never faltering, bringing energy to aid certain punchlines and lead us down the best comedic cul-de-sacs. Something as simple as falling has been built into the perfect mountain of a performance, stakes get higher, jokes get more sophisticated, and it's a joy of a ride to be on. We go on journeys with Claire from everywhere to a Collins St crosswalk, a Shepparton venue, and even the doctor's office, her making each retelling as fun as the last.

The well-polished set almost didn't come across like a show in the middle of a Comedy Festival run, Claire was on fire tonight, experiencing Nothing To See Here was like watching a streaming standup special. This year's offering is definitely one worth considering.
