If laughter truly is the best medicine, Meg Jäger’s Renaissance Woman has cured me for life. She’s got something in her delivery that you can’t quite fathom — it’s like watching a close-up magic trick, you know there’s a method, but you’re too blown away to see it.

Meg’s life is rife with a plethora of fodder, stories of youth group, working as a teacher, and even growing up in Brisbane are full of laugh-out-loud moments. You’re not too sure where she’ll head with a joke, but you’re strapped in, and she expertly crafts a route that takes you on a journey you’d wish you could stay on forever.

The five-act show is peppered with history too, thanks to Meg’s talents as a history teacher, her knowledge does shine through, but not in an overpowering way, it adds a texture that creates a stew you can’t really find anywhere else this festival.

There’s no question Meg’s a mindblowing talent ready for the next big thing.
