show title

Alice Tovey’s “Glass Houses” is a stand-up show about having a parent in prison. Which might not sound funny, but under Alice Tovey’s skillful delivery absolutely is. Tovey almost perfectly balances the drama, the vulnerability, and the humour. Her sense of timing is impeccable, and her singing voice sent genuine shivers down my spine. “Glass Houses” is chock-a-block with unbridled charisma, subtle social commentary, and plentiful laughs.
