Clare Taylor & Ruby Rawlings

Clare Taylor is Chimp!

  • Australia

On November 13th 2024, Clare Taylor mysteriously and spontaneously blacked out. When she came to, she was surrounded by banana peels, faeces, and arrest warrants.

Ever since that night, Clare’s life has been in free fall. She never knows when Chimp is about to take over, or why. But one thing is clear enough: Chimp is demanding a show. A show in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Why? Because he has something to say to his fans.

Are you ready to hear it?

Ruby Rawlings (Awarded Outstanding Comedy Act by Union House Theatre in 2019, Best New Comedy Work in 2022, and co-recipient of the VCA50 Grant for her upcoming comedy-thriller film, Shoebox) directs Clare Taylor (none of your business) in a fully original and deeply upsetting “comedic” work.

Note: Clare Taylor and Ruby Rawlings accept no liability for the deeds, words or views expressed by Chimp in the course of this show. Audience members enter into contact with Chimp at their own risk.
