Juliet Sironi
Crazy Bird Lady
A heartfelt comedy and storytelling show about searching for your flock ... and finding yourself (and ravens!).
Award-winning comedian and storyteller Juliet Sironi brings her much anticipated debut solo show to Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
If you have ever felt like an outsider who is searching for their flock, this show is for you!
Fresh from a feathered and fabulous run at Melbourne Fringe Festival, join Juliet as she weaves comedy and storytelling together to tell her tales of real wild ravens, and the woman who loves them. Nice, right?
Except, this wonderful time is Juliet’s life was inextricably linked with her grandmother’s illness and death, and Juliet’s own Queer and mental health journey.
And then there's this omniscient omnipresent mystical (plush) raven. And he thinks he is the ruler of the Universe. And he wants Juliet to tell her story. Her real story. And if Juliet doesn't, she will be struck by lightning. And the raven will possibly peck her eyes out.
CRAZY BIRD LADY is a story of darkness and light, depression and sadness, happiness and .. beakfuls of spaghetti shoes? What??? And finding friendship in the most unlikely of places.
Nice things audiences have said about CRAZY BIRD LADY:
'Very authentic storytelling at its best!'
It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me think.'
