Steph Crothers

Daddy Daycare

  • Australia

Come play with me, daddy!

What if there was a daycare centre for grown men? If your husband or boyfriend can’t be trusted to be left on their own, don’t worry! Leave them with me and let me entertain them. I’ll open wide, so they can come inside. With crude craft, pervy puppets and sexy sing-a-longs, your men will be kept busy. Don't worry, there’s plenty of me to play with!

Daddy Daycare is a bold, clowning-based, improv-infused, deeply feminist debut solo show by comedian Steph Crothers, who has been making a name for herself in the Naarm comedy scene. Steph spent many years working as both a stripper and children’s entertainer, a unique experience that has shaped her comedic voice. She’s the producer of musical improv troupe Les Improvisé, which has enjoyed eight sold-out festival seasons, and she regularly performs stand-up comedy and improv. In 2018 she was a contestant on the reality show The Bachelor and has since gained traction on TikTok for coming out as a lesbian.
