This is a basement venue off Swanston Street, directly across the road from the Melbourne Town Hall. It can be accessed by a staircase of approx. 25+ stairs, which services both levels, with landings at several points. The staircase has both left and right handrails for the length of the staircase.

Whilst there is a service lift that can be used to access the main theatre and mezzanine levels, it is not considered step free or wheelchair accessible as a result of historic architecture and seating arrangement. Please speak to security or a member of staff if you require the use of the service lift.

The main entrance is via Swanston Street through the main portico doors. Ascend the main staircase - approx 20 carpeted stairs with handrails on either side. Once at the top, turn left and travel approx 20m down the corridor. The performance space is on the left-hand side.

For step-free/wheelchair access, enter through the doorway on Swanston Street, to the left of the main staircase. Take the ramp and turn right to follow the corridor towards the lifts (if you reach the Lower Town Hall lobby, you have gone too far). There is lift access to the first floor, where you can exit to go through the large gilded bronze doors. Turn right down the corridor for approx 20m to reach the performance space on the left-hand side.
