Charlie Valentine

Fence

  • Australia

Comedy was invented 12 years ago when Charlie Valentine made his first successful joke.

A passing comment about a small fence witnessed through the backseat window of his family's 2008 Kia Carnival. Muffled laughter from his older sisters who had known nothing of joy until this moment. A sly smile from the 12-year-old boy who, knowingly or not, had just dramatically altered the trajectory of his own life.

In this moment, a new artform was born. Comedy.

Come watch Charlie Valentine perform his third solo hour of stand-up at Melbourne International Comedy Festival from 25 March through to 19 April.

With a unique persona that is equal parts chaotic and charismatic, Charlie Valentine is a must watch at this year's Festival.

Suitable for audiences 18+
