James Collopy

Going Somewhere?

  • Australia

One man. One treadmill. One hour.

Join James Collopy (The Wonder Horse - ★★★★½) for approximately 4 kilometres of sketch comedy as he introduces you to characters from all walks of life.

The upbeat clomp of a German hiker. The authoritative stride of a 60 Minutes reporter covering a crime wave. The slow saunter of a priest swinging his, uh, incense yo-yo thing (it probably has a name but you know what I’m talking about).

Performed entirely on treadmill, ‘Going Somewhere?’ is a step-by-step exploration of the human condition for fans of Stephen King’s The Long Walk and/or the Sphynx’s riddle about that weird guy that walked on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and three in the evening.

DISCLAIMER: To be clear, this is a sketch show performed literally 100% on a treadmill and James will not stop walking the entire time unless there’s a perfectly good reason like a fire or a medical emergency.

Please note, the following performances will be filmed: Sat 28 Mar

Suitable for audiences 15+

Audience participation

Language – occasional coarse language

Strobe lighting
