Ally Morgan

If You're Hearing This

  • Australia

Winner Best Cabaret Award 2022 Sydney Fringe
Nominee Best Online Series 2025 AACTA Awards
(for musical comedy series GIRL CRUSH)
Nominee Best Writing of a Cabaret 2023 Green Room Awards

A one-woman musical comedy about the end of the world – and the beginning of something else.

We’ve all fantasised about fleeing the great big typo that is modern society. In If You’re Hearing This, Ally Morgan actually follows through. After society’s collapse, Ally drifts through space in a DIY vessel, captaining her own makeshift ship and broadcasting a lonely radio show into the cosmic abyss in search of other “Earth survivors.” Until suddenly – an alien responds.

Featuring original satirical songs and a healthy dose of musical absurdity, If You’re Hearing This blends sharp anecdotal humour, observational comedy and political silliness with the unhinged optimism required to keep going when everything feels like it’s falling apart.

From award-winning musical comedian Ally Morgan (Not Today, Hard Launch, Girl Crush) and director Miranda Middleton, this surreal cabaret invites you to strap in, tune in and gently lower your expectations of humanity.

Ally will be there. Hopefully you will too. The alien is trying its best.
