Kuah Jenhan

Like This, Like Dad (still)

  • Malaysia

Nominee Best Comedy 2016 Perth FRINGEWORLD

"If everyone goes to your show, who’s gonna feed the dog?" – Jenhan’s dad

His dad said it in 2009, and it still stings. Malaysia’s Kuah Jenhan, now terminally adult, fires back with a complete reimagining of LIKE THIS, LIKE DAD (still). A nostalgia-ridden, daddy-issues-laden, trauma-driven one-man comedy show. Expect sharp laughs, deep introspection and emotions no man should be this comfortable sharing live on stage.

'Be prepared to LOL with abandon.' ★★★★½ The Music

'You don’t have to be Asian to understand and appreciate Jenhan’s comedy. You just need to love the art of storytelling.' ★★★★★ Lilithia Reviews 2024

'Cracker of a show.' ★★★★ Herald Sun

Kuah Jenhan is a festival favourite from Malaysia, part of the inaugural Comedy Zone Asia in 2015 and a comedian who regularly sells out shows in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and beautiful Australia. This year he made his London debut to great acclaim. He has written shows with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and is a regular on the hit Malaysian podcast You Might Wanna Sit Down For This.
