Guys! I’m excited to come to Melbourne with my work-in-progress project Messing with Piotr. What is this? you ask.

I’m hammering two cool shows. One is about beauty. It’s super strange but fun, and it’s designed to be an experience for you and me, centred on the character of a blind monk. I don't like the word experimental, but need to say it is a very experimental clown show. I want you to leave the room feeling relaxed and grounded. 

The second is my exploration of my favourite genre – melodrama. I’ve always loved big, dramatic characters. I’m researching a Napoleonic soldier lost in the chaos of war, stuck in honour, discipline and all that “real man” stuff. I want to make a very ridiculous investigation into what’s under that frightening uniform. There will also be a lot of fake snow. 

I’m doing a full run, but every second night will be a different show, just to keep things alive. You are very welcome to come more than once – these shows will be transforming all the time.

I want this month  to be fun. I want to explore these shows with you, ask you lots of questions and create a space where I can develop these shows live with you.
It will be so awesome to have you in the room!
