Roisin McAlinden

Mirror Mirror

  • Australia

Once upon a time, in a faraway land (Australia), an incredibly young girl thought she'd found her Prince Charming. Instead, her Disney dream turned into a twisted tale worthy of the Brothers Grimm.

In this darkly funny, sharply honest stand-up show, Roisin sets out on a quest to understand how love transformed her from a fiercely independent woman into a desperate damsel in distress.

Taking you on a dangerous journey through enchanted forests and bogtroll infested swamps (aka Tinder), Mirror Mirror dissects the most private parts of a turbulent relationship, revealing universal truths about the dangers of dating men who believe they deserve to be King.

Directed by award-winning clown and screenwriter Penny Greenhalgh.

'A future Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Tremendous writing that is hilarious and heartfelt.' Marcel Blanch-de Wilt

'A mesmerising storyteller who leaves my cheeks and guts aching from huge belly laughs.' Janty Blair
