Dana Mitchell

The Lady Will Have

  • Australia

The Lady Will Have is the bold solo debut from playwright, poet and comedian Dana Mitchell.

Stand-up, satire, sketch, wigs.

After being nominated for Best Comedy at Melbourne Fringe, Dana is back to debut her one-woman show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Nobody’s good company anymore... except me and my wigs...

I’ve been doing some thinking and it’s not pretty, but humour me just this once because I think I’m onto something.

Darling, I’m your best friend, don’t you want to enable me a little?

Please, I have props and costumes this time.

P.S. I will be making a comprehensive list of everyone who doesn’t attend.

Directed by Dylan Murphy (director of Scout Boxall's God's Favourite, Hannah Camilleri's Lolly Bag and Dougie Baldwin's Detention).

Suitable for audiences 18+

Language – occasional coarse language

References to or simulation of violence

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
