Happy Labs

Tiny Doctors

  • Australia

A musical, interactive theatre lab where kids mix potions and learn the magic of emotions!

A joyful, hands-on theatre experience for children aged three plus, where feelings are explored, friendships are celebrated and happiness is brewed – literally!

This two-part program begins with a live musical performance inside a transformed theatre space: the Tiny Doctors Research Centre. Upon arrival, each child receives their very own lab coat, instantly becoming Tiny Doctors, ready to investigate what makes us feel good inside.

Tiny Doctors: Happy Labs is designed to promote emotional wellbeing, self-expression and social connection in a way that’s fun, memorable and accessible. Perfect for families, schools and little scientists with big hearts.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
