Alex Main & Jet Nye

As Kirk Lazarus said.... you never go full..... nah we're not going to say it. Welcome to Topic Thunder, a split bill comedy show where two comedians, Alex Main & Jet Nye, stranded in the open mic jungle take you on a journey through their ups, downs, highs and lows before taking on your suggestion and riffing on the spot in the hopes of a spot in stand-up stardom. As a cohesive unit of comedy combatants their show will leave you in stitches. With no audience suggestion too bold, no topic too taboo, we encourage you to bring your worst to help these boys out of the jungle.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
