Nicky Barry

Unladylike

  • Australia

Unladylike is a delicous banquet of wild, wicked, and wanton comedy.

Melbourne’s very own unoffical comedy dame Nicky Barry is bringing her riotous, risqué and unapologetically feminist show Unladylike to Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Every evening, she'll be aided and abetted by some of the very best femmes of the Fest. They've probably all flunked finishing school, but they’ve graduated with honours in hilarity, sass and scandal.

Unladylike is a celebration of wild women, feminist fire and deliciously naughty misbehaviour. Expect an early evening of cheeky commentary and laughter that’s strictly adults-only. If you’re a prude, consider this your warning – if you’re not, this is your invitation!

Nicky Barry is a multi-award-nominated comedian born and raised in Melbourne who regularly performs right across Australia and occasionally beyond. Most recently, Nicky starred in Tom Ballard’s critically acclaimed play Jks: A Comedy(?) at Melbourne Fringe.

This show has been developed by The Comedy Women's Association to showcase and support the many talented women performing at the 2026 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Strictly for audiences 15+

Language – occasional coarse language

Licensed venue: under 18s will only be permitted with a parent or guardian

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
