Amy Ruffle

Vampire

  • Australia

It is Amy's full intention for this debut Melbourne International Comedy Festival show to be about the dumb health fads she has been sucked into while trying to figure out what being 'healthy' even means. But best believe if something more interesting comes along, Amy will jump ship.

Maybe she finally learns what stocks are and becomes a Wall Street tycoon. Maybe she gets asked to create a new Cadbury chocolate block flavour. Maybe she gets cast in the final installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise playing Vin Diesel's new street racing rival. And then I'm sure we'd all rather see a show about that.

But if not, being diagnosed with two brain tumours (not the deadly kind) means Amy has got a bit to talk about anyway.

Amy Ruffle is an actor, comedian and producer most recently seen on two seasons of Channel 10's TV comedy Thank God You're Here and ABC’s Urvi Went To An All Girls School. She appeared on Aunty Donna's cult hit Most Upsetting Guessing Game and starred as SIRENA on NETFLIX's hit show Mako Mermaids. She trained and performed improv at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles and currently produces and performs improv every Wednesday at the Comedy Republic theatre in Melbourne with Something Good.

Suitable for audiences 13+

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
