Accessibility
Trades Hall has multiple venues across three levels, all of which are serviced by lifts.
There are two entry point for Trades hall. The main venue entrance is on Lygon St. There is a staircase at this entrance with approx. six steps. Head through the main entrance doors and continue straight to the end of the corridor. Go through the sliding doors into an outside courtyard area and turn right. Head straight to reach the main venue thoroughfare and Courtyard Bar area.
There is a wheelchair lift to the right hand side of the main entrance. If you wish to use the wheelchair lift please approach front of house staff when you arrive, who will be able to assist you. Once inside the building turn left, head to the end of the corridor and through the sliding doors. Turn right to enter the main venue thoroughfare and Courtyard Bar area.
The second venue entrance is via the venue driveway, approx. 50m to the left of the main venue entrance on Lygon St. Head down the driveway and turn right. Walk past the carpark and through the archway straight ahead to reach the main venue thoroughfare and Courtyard Bar area. This entrance is step free. Please note the driveway is uneven in patches.
Bathrooms
There are bathrooms available in the Courtyard Bar, on Level 1 of the South building next to the Quilt Room, on Level 1 of the South building down the corridor from ETU Ballroom, Common Rooms Bar and Solitary Hall, and on Level 2 of the North building close to Music Room.
Accessible bathrooms are available on the Ground Floor and on Level 1 of the South building, next to the lifts on each level.
Gender-neutral bathrooms are available in the Courtyard Bar. The Level 1 bathrooms down the corridor from ETU Ballroom, Common Rooms Bar and Solitary Hall are a series of single enclosed stalls, with handwashing and toilet facilities.
