Stream RAW Comedy 2026 on SBS this August

This August audiences will have a chance to peek through the looking glass into the next generation of Australian comedians, at the 2026 RAW Comedy National Grand Final – hosted by Australian comedy legend Luke McGregor, with 13 fresh comedic voices competing to take home the RAW Comedy crown.

The RAW Comedy National Grand Final will air on SBS2 at 8.30pm or to stream on SBS On Demand.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy is Australia’s largest and most prestigious open mic competition.

The 2026 RAW Comedy national finalists are: Aidan Mungai (ACT), Antoine Basseto (QLD), Brandon Duff (NSW), Effie Tan (NSW), Elias Jambula (ACT), Jack Russell (NT), Jake Zuckerman (VIC), Jorgia Rice (VIC), Joshua Khoury (NSW), Joshua Pillay (TAS), Lachlan Skinner (WA), Mae McCubbin (VIC) and Tilly Harrison (SA).

For three decades now, RAW Comedy has unearthed generations of emerging comedic talent from around the country, boasting an impressive alumni line-up including Anne Edmonds, Ronny Chieng, Tom Ballard, Sam Campbell, Sarah Kendall, Georgie Carroll, Celia Pacquola, Josh Thomas, Hannah Gadsby, Aaron Chen, Rhys Nicholson, Becky Lucas and Joel Creasey, just to name a few.
