Joseph Green was a judge’s associate at the Supreme Court of Victoria with seven murder trials under his belt, but after living through the proceedings for Erin Patterson’s infamous mushroom killings, he opted to leave it all behind to attend a prestigious clown college in Europe.

A premise that good could have rightfully been milked for the entire hour, but Joseph’s time in the courtroom left him with bountiful opportunities for detours.

Many legal professionals seem to find themselves in stand-up comedy, but Joseph may be the only one who’s been outed by a high schooler on an excursion for appearing in Superwog.

He’s familiar with both sides of the law, narrowly escaping the loss of his drivers licence thanks to the presiding judge being too rattled by Cardinal Pell’s case that morning to give a damn.

I do unfortunately have to sentence him to life imprisonement for getting a genuine laugh out of me with a Borat impression in 2026, but I’ll do it with a big dumb smile on my face.
