This show is how the Scooby Doo rollercoaster at Movie World felt to me as a child. Long stretches of anticipation, crossing my fingers that the big build up would all be worth it, and then screaming with delight for the absolute ride of my life.

Man Sings The Same Song, is an idea that is so inherently ridiculous, but executed to magnificent proportions. Yes, he really does sing the same song Yes, it is bizarre. Yes, there's chaos. And yes, it is as close to a religious experience as you can get.

It's impossible to describe the communal awe that sweeps the room, as more and more audience members surrender to the surrealism - and to Conk's incredible vocal pipes. To reveal any more would be taking away the magic. It's a feat of physical endurance, for performer and audience and absolutely phenomenal across the board.

See it for yourself and enjoy a little song - or several. An undisputed cult classic at the heart of Melbourne’s alternative comedy scene.
