Venue Accessibility

There are lots of shows to choose from in our program. To find shows at accessible venues, visit our Browse Shows page.

Select the Accessible Venues icon to see shows at wheelchair accessible venues only.

You can also use More Filters to search for specific accessibility services. Select the + next to Accessibility, then choose one or more services to include in your search. The options are:

• Wheelchair accessible toilet
• Hearing loop available
• Shows with Auslan interpreted sessions
• Low aural (suitable for Deaf or hard of hearing)
• Low visual (suitable for blind or low vision)
• Suitable for non-English speakers
• Assisted wheelchair access
• Unassisted wheelchair access

Open a show's page to check the accessibility of its venue.

On a mobile device, scroll down past the calendar to Show Details.

On a desktop, you’ll find Show Details on the right-hand side of the page, below the calendar.

Click the + sign to open the Venue information. It will include details like:

• Parking and public transport
• How to enter the venue
• Toilet facilities
• Available seating options

Many venues that take part in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival are independently run. This means the Festival relies on venues to provide their own accessibility information for us to share.

If you notice any missing or incorrect information, please let us know. Email access@comedyfestival.com.au and we will work with the venue to update the information.
