Quilt Room

The Quilt Room can be accessed either via the Lygon St main building entrance or via the Lygon St venue driveway.

For entrance via the LygonSt driveway:

• Head down the driveway and turn right. 
• Continue straight, past the carpark, through the open air courtyard towards the Courtyard Bar.
• Turn right just before reaching the courtyard bar into the South Building.
• Turn right and head up the large staircase to Level 1.
• From the top of the stairs continue straight ahead past the toilets to reach the venue.

For step-free/wheelchair access via the Lygon St driveway:

• Head down the driveway and turn right. 
• Continue straight, past the carpark, through the open air courtyard towards the Courtyard Bar.
• Turn right just before reaching the courtyard bar into the South Building.
• Use the lift directly ahead to travel to level 1.
• Upon exiting the lift turn left, head down the corridor and take the first right. 
• Head to the end of the corridor, turn right and then immediately left.
• Head pas the toilets and turn left.
• The performance space is at the end of the corridor.

For entry via the Trades Hall main stairs:

• Head up the stairs and through the door to the right of the main entrance
• Turn right and head up the staircase (20+ steps)
• Head down the corridor and take the first right.
• Head to the end of the corridor, turn right and then immediately left.
• Head pas the toilets and turn left.
• The performance space is at the end of the corridor.

For step-free/wheelchair access from the Trades Hall main stairs: 

• Approach front of house, who will be able to assist you with the use of the wheelchair lift to enter the building.
• Once inside the building turn left and head to the end of the corridor.
• Use the lift at the end of the corridor to travel to level 1.
• Upon exiting the lift turn left, head down the corridor and take the first right. 
• Head to the end of the corridor, turn right and then immediately left.
• Head pas the toilets and turn left.
• The performance space is at the end of the corridor.

Accessible seating is available on the right-hand side of the performance space, halfway along the audience bank.

All seating is general admission.

Seating is a mix of high back banquet style fabric chairs and tall bar stool style chairs with backs.

The audience bank in the Quilt Room is all level seating. 

Accessible seating is available on the right-hand side of the performance space, halfway along the audience bank.

There are bathrooms directly outside the Quilt Room.

An accessible bathroom is available on the ground and first floor of the south building near the lift.

Gender neutral bathrooms can be found on level 1 near Solidarity Hall and on the ground floor at the Courtyard Bar.

The Courtyard Bar can be found on the ground floor of the venue.
