Solidarity Hall
Solidarity Hall can be accessed either via the Lygon St main building entrance or via the Lygon St venue driveway.
For entrance via the Lygon St driveway:
- Head down the driveway and turn right.
- Continue straight, past the carpark, through the open air courtyard towards the Courtyard Bar.
- Turn right just before reaching the courtyard bar into the South Building.
- Continue down the corridor and up the staircase ahead (20+ steps).
- The performance space is down the corridor and on the right.
For step-free/wheelchair access via the Lygon St driveway:
- Head down the driveway and turn right.
- Continue straight, past the carpark, through the open air courtyard towards the Courtyard Bar.
- Turn right just before reaching the courtyard bar into the South Building.
- Use the lift directly ahead to travel to level 1.
- Turn left upon exiting the lift.
- The performance space is down the corridor and on the right.
For entry via the Trades Hall main stairs:
- Head up the stairs and through the door to the right of the main entrance
- Turn right and head up the staircase (20+ steps)
- The performance space is down the corridor and on the right.
For step-free/wheelchair access from the Trades Hall main stairs:
- Approach front of house, who will be able to assist you with the use of the wheelchair lift to enter the building.
- Once inside the building turn left and head to the end of the corridor.
- Use the lift at the end of the corridor to travel to level 1.
- Turn left upon exiting the lift.
- The performance space is down the corridor and on the right.
Accessible seating is available on the left-hand side of the audience bank, close to the entrance door.

All seating is general admission.
Seating is a mix of a high back banquet style fabric chairs and tall bar stool style chairs with backs in the stalls. Seating is high back theatre style fabric fixed chairs in the circle.
The audience bank for this performance space is level seating in the stall and raked seating in the circle.
Accessible seating is available on the left-hand side of the stalls audience bank, close to the entrance door.

The closest toilets to the Solidarity Hall are round the back of the venue. These toilets are a series of single enclosed stalls, with handwashing and toilet facilities.
An Accessible bathroom is available near Solidarity Hall, next to the lift.
Gender-neutral bathrooms are also available in the Courtyard Bar, on the ground floor of the venue.
