Courtney’s debut at Melbourne comedy festival was a riot! Immediately signposting how her show would go, letting us know the chapters of her creativity and when we would get to head on out, she got us onside and got started.

An absurdist take on traditional standup, Courtney is equally deadpan as she is flamboyant, her show taking unexpected turns through what I can only describe as a manic descent into chaos (VERY fun).

Courtney skips through genres, sometimes literally, but ties it all back in to personal struggles, her vulnerability shining through and warming us up, a great way to get to know a new comedian. It's camp, it's musical theatre, it's interactive! I went to a comedy show and won a game!

A truly boisterous debut, I can't wait to see what Courtney does next.
