Justin Porter was parentified and came out the other side, and Don’t Ask, Don’t Telfast is the story of that experience. It's beautiful, tragic, often tender and also still totally funny.

I had zero knowledge of what to expect from this show, but I thoroughly enjoyed this twisted trip down Porter’s memory lane. You get the sense that this is a story Porter has been waiting to share, and to witness it unfold is like magic. I really appreciated the use of archival footage and delicious callbacks that added to the sentimentality without feeling cheap.

He is an expressive storyteller and an exceptional performer, pausing for dramatic flair and to amp up the levels of silliness. It’s all delivered with such grace and expert care for the audience’s experience.

Unflinchingly honest, engaging throughout, and deserving of your attention, Porter has created a really lovely piece of work with such a challenging story.
