Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Noah Szto Success In Everything

Noah Szto Success In Everything

Success in Everything is the debut hour from one of Melbourne's most promising young comedians, Noah Szto. It's also probably the only time you'll ever see stand-up being performed inside a karaoke booth.

A recovering overachiever, Noah originally conceived this show as a way to challenge his perfectionism and teach himself how to do things just for fun. Then it won the Comedy New Work Award at Melbourne Fringe in 2023 and he realised that actually what was he thinking and how could he be so stupid and also fun is super overrated anyway. Come join him in this hour of clever comedy as he tries to get to the bottom of why he's like this!

Noah Szto is an Asian-Australian comic who started performing stand-up at the turn of the pandemic – terrible timing, he knows – and has been bouncing around the Melbourne scene ever since. He's a two-time RAW Comedy Victorian State Finalist, a regular at the best venues around town and he runs Soapbox, a fan-favourite line-up show featuring new line-ups of comic talent every month. He's also in his final year of studying the Doctor of Medicine, though he insists that it's just a side-hustle.

He hopes to see you at the show! xoxo
