Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

The Two Queers & The Butterfly Club present

Brendan Hancock F*ck Around And Find Out If Its Any Good

Hello! It’s me, Sydney’s laziest drag queen, Brendan Hanc*ck, and you are indecently invited to my show, F*ck Around And Find Out If It’s Any Good. It’s a show in which, and I hope I don’t lose you here… I f*ck around and find out if it's any good.

A comedy spectacular told on a grand piano (a digital Yamaha) about a small-town country boy from Jindabyne who wants to become Australia’s Greatest Showman (f*ggot category). Expect larger-than-life panache, a camp number of two, a love letter to lesbians and a few tales of depraved debauchery that grapple with the fact that maybe you don’t always get what you want, but isn’t it about the enemies you make along the way?

Hanc*ck (me) is a regular host of Pedestrian.TV, Two Queers Walk Into a Bar, a RAW Comedy State Finalist, a regular at comedy clubs around Australia and is currently the face of sexual health testing in NSW, which I suppose isn’t really relevant, but I just wanted to be honest.

This is my Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut and I very much hope to see you for a laugh, a cry, and a kiss x

'A notorious homosexual.' Time Out Sydney

'Best comedy pick of Melbourne Fringe.' Time Out Melbourne

'Survived an on-stage accident involving LMFAO's Champagne Showers.' ABC Queer

'He has the overwhelming confidence of someone who doesn’t technically have a real job.' Theatre Travels

Please note, the following performances will be filmed: Fri 19 Apr.
