Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Roxie Halley Good Girl

Roxie Halley Good Girl

Good Girl is the debut solo sketch show of Roxie Halley – a demon trapped in a people pleaser's body – known for her powerful, absurd and beautifully flawed characters.

This bold character comedy peers into the lives of messy, cunning and tragic women as they navigate a world full of mixed messages.

Roxie Halley is an actor, writer and film director who has brought her eccentric characters to life across Australia and Asia for over a decade. She’s a cast member with the Improv Conspiracy Theatre (F#%k This, I Quit and The Remix) and wrote and performed the chaotic masterpiece Toni & Lyndelle: Pieces of Work at the 2022 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

'Different to anything else you’ll see at this year’s comedy festival.' Squirrel Comedy

'Filled with movement, colourful characters and unbridled imagination, their performance will challenge conceptions of what comedy and theatre should be.' Broadway World

Please note, the following performances will be filmed: Wed 10 Apr & Fri 12 Apr.
Suitable for audiences 18+
