Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Kyle Dolan No Place Like Home (Australia,Scotland)

Kyle Dolan No Place Like Home (AUS,SCO)

After performing in the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Kyle Dolan makes his highly anticipated Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in a show about being born in Scotland but growing up in Australia.

Using stand-up comedy and storyboard illustrations, this show will look at what the concept of “home” means when you are drawn in so many different directions, as well as what happens when you are the only Scottish kid in school when Shrek is the biggest movie in the world.
