Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

The Scientwits Lights, Camera... Chaos!

The Scientwits Lights, Camera... Chaos!

The Scientwits are back with their brand-new show! This time, Science Sam is attempting to broadcast a serious science TV show but typically, Captain Chaos has other ideas. Bigger ideas. Incorrect ideas. Occasionally explosive and flammable, more exciting ideas!

There will be science, there will be magic. There will be parts of Science Sam on fire, again. Sadly for Scientist Sam, thanks to Captain Chaos and his appalling lack of basic scientific knowledge and attention to detail, nothing will go right. Again.

But for you, dear audience, you will be part of another rollicking, high-energy blend of science and comedy that has had The Scientwits audiences spellbound and coming back for more and more family friendly fun.

Suitable for audiences from 4 to 4,000,000  Lights, Camera… CHAOS! is a one-of-a-kind, high-energy and interactive sketch comedy extravaganza for kids (and big kids) that is not to be missed!

Performed by :

Sammy Harrison AKA Scientist Sam. Science teacher by day, stand-up comedian by night, Sammy is and best known for his sell-out show at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival: Sammy Harrison: Trail and Error – Couch to 100K (with all profits donated to Oxfam Australia).

Alongside John Burgos AKA Captain Chaos. John is an established stand-up comedian, MC and joke writer in the Australian comedy circuit who is best known for his role as The Annoying Devil from Balls of Steel Australia and finalist in FHM's national search for ‘Australia’s Funniest Man OR Woman'.
